Step out the door of your villa and take a short stroll for a game of golf. Experience beautiful weather and rolling greens. There are many other courses nearby, and we may have some good deals.

Sport Fishing

Avid fishermen and novices from all over the world come to fish in this beautiful area of Costa Rica. Whether you’d like a whole day or a half-day tour, we can book what you need with a local charter and have you picked up steps from Villa #31. Most fishing charters include lunch, and we can arrange transportation if needed. Get ready for some fine fishing or just sit back and enjoy the boat ride.

Waterfalls

If you’ve ever dreamt about visiting towering waterfalls with pristine tumbling water, your dream just came true. This lush jungle region is filled with falls, and if you’re a fan of Temptation Island – a few may look familiar. You can either take advantage of local tours or go hiking self-guided. In any event, wear comfortable shoes, bring plenty of water, plan to get wet, and take pictures.

Zip-Lining

If you are adventurous, make sure you go zip-lining. There’s nothing quite as thrilling as soaring above jungles with birds, monkeys, and a canopy of trees right under your feet. And don’t worry – you’re safe and secure. You’ve seen it in movies and on TV, now take the chance of a lifetime. Experience the thrill of zip-lining with friends and family alike.

Mountain Biking

Zoom through the beautiful jungles and experience Costa Rica like one of the locals. There’s a multitude of trails to choose from depending upon your activity level. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a camera. We recommend hiring a local as a guide. Let us know if you’re interested, and we can connect you with a guide.

Day Camping

Love to camp? Then you’ll be in heaven. Some of the favorite camping destinations are beaches where you can have a bonfire at night. At Playa Los Vivos, you can go eco-glamping. From organic food to sports classes and paddleboarding, you’ll have experiences of a lifetime. Go sports fishing, have a massage, and take the evenings to enjoy the beach.

Experience snorkeling and swim with schools of playful fish. Prime snorkeling is at Tortuga Island – about a 30-minute boat ride. When you snorkel in our beautiful clear waters, you’ll see every color of fish imaginable. We can help you sign up for a tour that includes snorkeling lessons, all gear needed, and snacks. So bring the entire family and jump in, the water is warm, and the fish are waiting.

Kayaking

Going kayaking in Costa Rica is an adventure of a lifetime. You’ll find the waters clear, and depending on the time of day and tide, they can be smooth as glass. Some of the local tours, especially around the fishing villages, offer kayaking trips along with lessons – either private or group. Kayaking is a must-do adventure for travelers of all ages.

Whale Watching

Although the whales aren’t as abundant in this area as in the past, you may be able to spot a few, especially if you take a boat tour or go deep-sea fishing. But, even if you don’t see whales, there’s a good chance you’ll see giant jumping fish and playful dolphins. And, during certain seasons, you’ll see sea turtles laying their eggs on the beach.

Horseback Riding

One of the favorite things to do here is to go horseback riding on the beach. Whether you’re on your honeymoon or have an entire family – don’t miss this incredible adventure. Besides riding on the beach, there are lots of trails and guided tours. This is one activity we highly recommend to all of our guests. Make sure to bring water and snacks.

Los Delfines weather is beautiful and perfect for a game of tennis. Play a few games at our own club or venture into one of the local towns. After a game of tennis, have a refreshing tropical drink and bite to eat. There are also group and private lessons available. Our guests enjoy themselves immensely from tennis to socializing and never get bored.
